Read the questions first, then the document. Say who you are and how the proposal affects you. Give examples. You don't have to answer every question. A short, specific answer counts as much as a long one.

Each year the Council has to decide how best to use the money it has. For the past few years the cost of running Council services has gone up faster than the amount of funding we receive has. This means that we have a budget gap, and we must continue to make difficult and important choices to make sure the Council continues to manage public money well. In this survey we want to hear your views on some of our plans. We would also like to hear any suggestions you might have about how we can do things differently. Thank you for taking part. It really helps.

Digital technology can make services quicker, easier and more convenient for many people. However, we recognise that not everyone can, or wishes to, use online services, and it is important that people can continue to access services in the ways that work best for them. This strategy is not about making services online-only. Your feedback will help us understand what matters most.
