AGREED to (i) note the updated Corporate Risk Register; (ii) that the Chair of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee consider items within the register to place on their Forward Work Programme at their next meeting, or refer to the relevant Committee accordingly to scrutinise; and (iii) that clarification was sought on the training provided to employees on cyber resilience due to the risk involved

AGREED (i)to note the updated Corporate Risk Register; (ii) to consider further in detail the concept of risk tolerance of the Council and how it relates to the risk register, especially in relation to financial and fire safety risks through a Workshop; and (iii) that (ii) above was actioned once the Audit Wales report on Risk Management was received which could provide recommendations to assist the Committee upon its risk tolerance and to avoid duplication of efforts on this issue; and (iv) to note that the potential risk regarding the West Wales Marine SAC ( Special Area of Conservation)…

AGREED to note the current position subject to confirmation that all schools had evacuation plans as part of their fire drills, as assurance to the Committee. (As previously agreed during consideration of item 14 on the agenda, the CLO Customer Contact and ICT would be invited to a future meeting to provide Members with an update on the current position of the service upon Cyber Resilience, which was also included in the Corporate Risk Register as a High Risk)
