RESOLVED: That the minutes of the Democratic Services Committee (11 November 2024) be shared with the Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales as the Council’s response to the consultation.

Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales: Annual Report 2025/2026
RESOLVED: a) That the final determinations within the Independent Remuneration Panel for Wales’ (IRPW) Annual Report 2025/2026 be noted. RECOMMENDED TO COUNCIL: b) That the status quo remains in terms of the payment of senior and civic salaries, i.e. that a senior salary is paid to the Chairs of the four Overview and Scrutiny Committees, the Planning Committee, the General/Statutory Licensing Committee, and the Democratic Services Committee, and that a civic salary is paid to the Chair of Council (but not the Vice-Chair of Council).
