RESOLVED: That the Governance & Audit Committee reviewed the processes supporting effective risk management and resolved to: a) Explore the frequency of risk management reporting. b) Prioritise training initiatives to improve understanding of risk management processes and terminology.

RESOLVED:- (i) That the Governance & Audit Committee considered the processes in place to support the effective management of risks. (ii) That the committee confirmed satisfaction with the Council’s risk management process, subject to the caveat that some corporate risk ratings were not fully aligned with internal assessments. This was noted for future consideration.

RESOLVED:- (i) That the Governance and Audit Committee considered the processes in place to support the effective management of risks at WCBC. (ii) That the Governance and Audit Committee receive a further update report in May.
