ICT and Digital Strategy - Year 2 Update
AGREED - i. That a report seeking the views of Committee on the proposals for the refresh of the next ICT and Digital Strategy 2024-2027 be submitted for consideration in the summer (this has been scheduled for the meeting on 20th July). ii. That the above report include a discussion paper on measures to promote digital inclusion. iii. To recommend to the Chief Officer Governance & Customer that a ‘how to’ video be developed to support and encourage more customers to sign up to the Council’s My Account. iv. ICT and Digital Strategy
AGREED – (i) That the Committee thank the Officers for the report. (ii) To recommend that an evaluation of the Council's digital inclusion initiatives supporting customers as outlined in Appendix 2 of the report be included in the ICT and Digital Strategy 2024-27. (iii) To recommend that consideration be given to the inclusion of Community Agents to support people to access digital services.
