The Committee noted its views on the draft outline programme in Appendix A and asked for them to be reflected in an updated version. It approved the proposed development of the induction programme. Officers will bring an updated programme to the next meeting.

Updated draft induction programme for councillors after 2027
The committee agreed that its views on the draft programme will be reflected in an updated version. It agreed the proposed changes and eLearning modules to be included in the programme's ongoing development. It noted that an online version of the Member Development Evaluation Form, a feedback form for training, will be created in Microsoft Forms. It approved plans for an induction workshop for members and asked for an updated programme at its next meeting.
