The committee moved the homelessness prevention and Wales Audit temporary accommodation reports to 30 October, and set an extra meeting for 14 October to consider the Western Bay Drug Commission report. With the Chair's agreement, the committee moved the Quarter 1 corporate performance report to 16 October 2025 and the Quarter 2 report to 8 January 2026. It also removed the Quarter 3 report from 19 February, with a date to be confirmed, and added the Welsh in Education Annual Report to 16 October 2025.

Changes to the scrutiny work programme
With the Chair's agreement, the committee changed its work programme. The research report on Prevention and Early Intervention was removed from 29 September and will be rescheduled, and a welfare rights report was added to 30 October. An extra meeting on 25 November will consider refugees, asylum seekers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. Several other reports were added or moved to December, January and March. The programme was then noted.

Two items added to the scrutiny work programme
Two items were added to the committee's forward work programme, which is its list of future topics for scrutiny (review). They are a review of the appeals process in comprehensive schools, and a report on Estyn (the schools inspectorate for Wales) outcomes and what is needed to support equality in schools when resources are not available. Members also asked to receive copies of Estyn reports once they are made public.
