RESOLVED- (i) To note the making of the Council Tax Reduction Scheme and Prescribed Requirements (Wales) Regulations ("the Prescribed Requirements Regulations") by the Welsh Assembly on 27 November 2013. Council tax reduction scheme for 2026/27
The Council adopted the council tax reduction scheme for 2026/27, which helps people on low incomes pay less council tax. It adopted the national 2013 regulations as its scheme, keeping the existing local options. It also gave the Chief Officer Finance and ICT, after consulting the Leader, power to deal with any amendments to the regulations.
