Decarbonisation Plan: progress update
The Committee agreed to consider the future electric vehicle (EV) policy before it is approved. It asked for information on the level of use of EV charging points, on street lighting and related Community Council charges, on the 10 buildings that use the most energy, and on savings from solar lights. It also asked for a report on the Fleet Review, including the register of vehicles, to be considered at the September meeting.

Climate change and ecological emergency: progress update
The committee asked for the fuel usage, municipal waste and carbon emissions figures to be checked and revised if needed, with any revised data sent to members. It asked that the next update include how the procurement strategy is being carried out, with spend within the county and Wales if available. It agreed that reports on this matter will come to the committee each year, before they go to the Executive Board, the council's main decision-making body. It asked for more information on safer routes to be sent to members. It supported a focus on 'big ticket' items, meaning large projects that could cut carbon the most, and thanked the lead member and officers for their work.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
