Members of special and ad hoc bodies, and member champions
Members appointed people to a wide range of special and ad hoc bodies, including the Gwent Public Service Board (Councillor S. Thomas), its scrutiny committee (Councillors E. Jones and T. Smith) and the Grants Working Group, which has 14 members. They also named member champions, who take a lead on subjects such as equalities, age friendly policy, climate change and the armed forces.

Councillors were appointed to a wide range of special and ad hoc committees, working groups and boards. Councillor S. Thomas was appointed to the Gwent Public Service Board, and Councillors E. Jones and J. Thomas to its scrutiny committee. Councillor S. Hodgins were named to the Education Admissions Forum and the Schools Forum, among other education bodies.
