Draft Strategic Workforce Plan 2023 to 2028
The committee made recommendations on the plan. It asked that the staff graphics also show vacancy levels and general turnover by directorate. It recommended a HR strategic group to monitor delivery, and that the Portal analytical tool be developed as soon as possible to study complaints and Member referrals, which are issues councillors raise for residents. It also asked for a comparison of Bridgend's workforce structure with other Welsh councils, and whether the Venture Graduate Scheme could be open to students at other higher education colleges, especially Bridgend College.
