Play Sufficiency Duty, Assessment and Action Plan 2022-24
The Committee made five recommendations. It asked Officers to consider the timing of survey deadlines for Town and Community Councils; to consider a mechanism so clubs can use community facilities such as sports pitches out of hours if the weather stops them using their usual facilities; to consider how the partnership with Town and Community Councils could be strengthened; to reflect on how well known the temporary road closure procedure is and how it can be promoted; and to consider revisiting the aim of Play Priority Signs and exploring with Registered Social Landlords the removal of No Ball Games signs where appropriate. The Committee also requested the National Guidance on the One Council approach and confirmation of how the views of 0-3 year olds and their families were gathered.
Cabinet. The Cabinet makes most of the council's decisions.
Play sufficiency assessment and action plan 2022-24

Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
