The Council approved the council tax base and a 97.5% collection rate for 2023-24, giving a net tax base of 55,007.82. It also approved the tax bases for the town and community areas.

Council tax charges 2023-24
Council approved a Band D council tax for Bridgend County Borough Council of £1,675.26 for 2023-24, and the Band D charges for each community area in Table 7 of the report. Following a recorded vote, the recommendations were carried by 26 votes to 20.
