Corporate Plan Delivery Plan 2023-24
The committee recommended that the plan move away from key performance indicators (KPIs), which look back at past results, towards measures that drive change, such as business process and customer experience measures. It also recommended ICT support for a programme that quickly flags concerning measures, and a consistent understanding of RAG (red, amber, green) status across all directorates. It asked officers to consider objectives and key results (OKRs) and trend arrows, and to use measures that residents consider important. It also requested that officers map ideas from other councils on ways of working, for a members' session at the end of April 2023.

The Committee asked that thought be given to how the roles in the draft framework's 'I am a…' section are passed on to staff and the public. It also asked that future performance reports include a short executive summary, and it said it wanted concise, proportionate information because of the officer time that complex data takes.
