More supported accommodation and HMOs to reduce bed and breakfast use
The Council approved developing more supported accommodation through the criteria and process in the report. It approved increasing the number of houses in multiple occupation (HMOs), homes shared by unrelated households, to reduce use of bed and breakfast accommodation. It also approved refocusing the Housing Support Grant on suitable accommodation and less reliance on bed and breakfast.
