Appointment to Committees for the Municipal Year
Resolved that; 2.1 The appointment of members to Cabinet be noted. 2.2 The appointment of members to committees as contained within the report be accepted. 2.3 The membership of the Scrutiny Committees be brought back to Full Council for approval. 2.3 The granting of delegated authority to the Political Leaders to fill the vacancies on the Governance and Audit Committee and the Appeals Committee in line with the politically balanced rules in the Local Government and Housing Act 1989, and these amendments be updated on the Councils website, be approved.
Full Council. Full Council sets the budget and council tax and approves major plans.
Appointment to Scrutiny Committees for 2025/26
The Council approved the appointment of members to scrutiny committees as set out in the report, and gave Political Leaders delegated authority to fill any vacancies during the year.
