Establishment of a Welsh Medium Learning Resource Base at Ysgol Gymraeg Rhyd Y Grug
The Cabinet noted the consultation report. It approved the setting up of a Welsh-medium learning resource base, a specialist class within a mainstream school, at Ysgol Gymraeg Rhyd Y Grug. It also approved the issue of a statutory notice, the formal public notice that starts the legal process.

Determination of the Establishment of a Welsh Medium Learning Resource Base at Ysgol Gymraeg Rhyd Y Grug
Cabinet approved the establishment of a generic 12-place Welsh-medium learning resource base (LRB) for pupils aged Reception to Year 6 with additional learning needs (ALN). An LRB is a specialist class within a mainstream school. It will open at Ysgol Gymraeg Rhyd Y Grug from September 2025.
