Councillor L Mytton led the Council through the Welsh Language Strategy and Welsh in Education Strategic Plan’ report. Questions were then raised by the Members on the report and were responded to in detail by the Officers. Members were also advised of an error in Appendix 1 – Foreword – The date should be ‘June 2027’ not ‘June 2021’. Resolved subject to the foregoing that: (a) The submission of the Welsh in Education Strategic Plan and Action Plan to Welsh Government be approved (b) The further development of the Welsh Language Strategy and Action Plan for the Welsh Commissioner be approved.
