Council agreed to remove Cllr Sharon Freeguard from the Registration and Licensing Committee and the Licensing and Gambling Acts Committee. It also agreed to appoint Cllr Lauren Heard to both committees.

Council removed Cllr Nathan Goldup John from the Democratic Services Committee, the Education, Skills and Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee and the Special Appointments Committee. Cllr Angharad Aubrey joined the Democratic Services Committee and the Environment, Regeneration and Streetscene Services Scrutiny Committee. Cllr Helen Ceri Clarke moved from the Environment, Regeneration and Streetscene Services Scrutiny Committee to the Education, Skills and Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee. Cllr Cen Phillips joined the Special Appointments Committee.

Changes to scrutiny committee membership
Council removed Cllr Sonia Reynolds from the Social Services Scrutiny Committee and appointed Cllr Stephanie Grimshaw to it. It also removed Cllr Stephanie Grimshaw from the Culture, Connection and Place Scrutiny Committee and appointed Cllr Sonia Reynolds to it.

Political balance and committee membership
Members approved the political proportionality calculation, which shares committee seats between political groups in line with their size, in Appendix 1, and the proposed committee nominations in Appendix 2. The approval was subject to a verbal change: Councillor Hayley Davies, not Councillor Tim Bowen, is to be appointed to the Social Services Scrutiny Committee.
