Neighbourhood Improvement Programme 2026/27
Cabinet approved the proposed funding allocations for the programme and delegated power to the Director of Environment and Regeneration, after consulting the Cabinet Member for Streetcare, to approve individual schemes in categories A, B and C. It approved the proposed approach for category D, where the extra allocation is used only to top up existing PIPIF applications whose costs exceed the indicative £25,000 allocation, and endorsed the continued use of the established PIPIF processes to manage these requests. It approved an August 2026 deadline for submissions and asked for a further report in autumn 2026 on the total extra funding needed and the allocation of any remaining funds.

Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
