Year-end reviews of 2022-23 service plans
The minute records no vote. Members asked officers for further information and reports on several points, including: the council's policy on replacing cut-down trees, and promoting it; an update on the Maesglas public spaces protection order (a local rule on behaviour in a public area); details of the Improved Compliance Support Framework and how it is marketed to businesses; an evaluation of the Traffic Free Streets for Schools pilot, to be shared with schools; the completion date for digital bus signage that has been ordered but not installed; figures for social housing properties brought back into use; and information on Registered Social Landlord stock, including what 'affordable' means.

End of year review: Regeneration and Economic Development
The Committee asked for an update on visits to the What's On website, and the Regeneration and Place Manager agreed to provide updated figures. It asked for a full update on the website, covering visits, user engagement and feedback. It recommended that the objectives and timelines for the Transporter Bridge and the Visitor Centre be shown separately. It asked for clearer project timelines in reports, with regular updates on projects in tender or negotiation, and asked for a business plan for the new leisure centre. It also asked for better community engagement on parks, including with local schools.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
