2025/26 final budget and Medium-Term Financial Plan
Cabinet noted the public consultation on the budget, the feedback received, and the Fairness and Equalities Impact Assessment. It reviewed and confirmed the final budget recommendations and agreed the 2025/26 fees and charges. It recommended the detailed budget investments and savings, and the resulting Council Tax rate, to full Council. It approved spending and use of the Transformation Fund, a reserve used to pay for changes that save money, in line with Appendix 9. Cabinet unanimously supported the budget and Medium-Term Financial Plan. The minute does not record a Council Tax rate.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
