Performance Scrutiny Committee - Partnerships. Scrutiny committees question decisions and can recommend changes. They don't make the decision.
Safer Newport Community Safety Partnership Annual Report 2025/26
The Committee recommended that partners publicise positive action, planned activity and 'you said, we did' messages to improve public perception of crime and community safety, and promote the lived experience of people who use the services. It recommended that partners make sure rural areas of Newport are not overlooked and that information is shared consistently. It requested that future reports include drug-related offence data and, where available, information on nitrous oxide use. It supported the development of the Women's Charter and endorsed the partnership's progress with the project.

Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
