Community Parenting Strategy 2025
The committee was content with the strategy. It asked for an information report on feedback from the consultation on the redesign of Children's Services. It also recommended using percentages to show trends, noting how many Children Looked After come from outside Newport, adding baseline numbers and percentages to the outcomes, benchmarking against best practice, having more board members with lived care experience, and monitoring the strategy annually.
