Learning Disability Independent Living Strategy 2023-28
The Committee made a number of recommendations on the Strategy. These include improving the action table so it shows aspirations and measures progress better, adding employment opportunities for service users, and linking the Strategy to other Council strategies, plans and partnerships. The Committee also recommended more emphasis on service user feedback and assistive technology, and a training session or seminar for Members on promoting services. The Committee asked for a 6-month information report on progress and was content with the Strategy.
