Appointment of the Leader and Cabinet
Councillor Jane Mudd was appointed Leader of the Council. As Leader, she named her Cabinet members and their areas of responsibility, called portfolios. Deb Davies is Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Education and Early Years. Councillor Evans then named the opposition shadow spokespersons.
