Placemaking Plan cross-party working group
Cabinet agreed to set up a cross-party task and finish group to give input to the new Placemaking Plan for the city centre. The Cabinet Member for Regeneration will chair it, under the terms of reference in Appendix 1.

Newport Placemaking Plan for the city centre
Cabinet approved and adopted the Newport Placemaking Plan. It approved a Place Board to oversee the plan, with its terms of reference. It added the short-term projects to the capital programme, funded from the 2025/26 UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF).
