Council gave effect to the appointments of members to external bodies, as set out in Appendix 1 to the minutes. The appendix lists boards and joint committees, with the councillors appointed to each. Some entries are marked TBC, meaning to be confirmed.

Appointing councillors to outside bodies
Council gave effect to councillors' appointments to outside bodies, as listed in Appendix 2 of the minute. The list covers bodies such as the Gwent Police and Crime Panel, the Newport Live Board and the South East Wales Corporate Joint Committee.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other.
