It also asked for more information on tackling isolation and loneliness among unpaid carers. The Strategic Director noted ongoing efforts in this area.

Gwent Regional Partnership Board annual report 2023-24
The Committee requested clarification of bereavement funding arrangements once national and local frameworks are in place, and regular updates on College Consortium developments. It asked for updates on the Dementia Friendly initiative and the Brain Health Programme, and for further details on the Autism Neurodivergence Strategic Partnership. It stressed the need for ongoing communication with Ward Councillors about the partnership's progress. It recommended a simpler or easy-read version of the report, tracking of carer accreditation at city and ward level, and a bigger role for Community Connectors in engaging local groups.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
