Councillor R Howells, the Cabinet Member for Assets and Infrastructure, said the city has 15 fully funded socially necessary bus routes and one network of 5 Sunday services, and that a further 22 services receive de minimis payments. No decision was recorded.
Councillor Fouweather asked: Can the cabinet member tell me how many socially necessary bus networks are in place. Councillor R Howells responded: Currently, the number of fully funded socially necessary bus routes in the city is 15, plus one network of 5 services on a Sunday. A further 22 are also supported by “De minimis” payments, which are part funded commercial services.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
Declarations are read from the minutes once they are published.
