A decision has been made, so the council is no longer taking comments. Refused, 2 July 2025.
This application was named on the agenda of Planning Committee on 1 July 2025.
What the committee decided
Refused outline planning permission for two detached houses on land between 2 and 12 Neath Road, Fforestgoch. Outline permission decides whether building is acceptable in principle, and leaves design and access details for later.
Application received
The council checks the application is complete and gives it a reference number.
Consultation
The council tells neighbours and others, usually with a site notice or letters. Anyone can comment, usually within 21 days.
Decision
Most applications are decided by the council's planning officers. Larger or disputed ones go to the planning committee, where councillors decide in public.
After the decision
If permission is refused, the applicant can appeal to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales. Other people can't appeal, but can comment on an appeal.
