A decision has been made, so the council is no longer taking comments. Approved with conditions, 22 May 2026.
This application was named on the agenda of Planning Committee on 21 May 2026.
What the committee decided
The committee approved the application, subject to the applicant first signing a legal agreement, called a Unilateral Undertaking or Section 106 agreement, which binds the applicant to a timetable for two farm buildings. If a building is not used for its approved farm purpose, it must be demolished, and all buildings must be removed if either stays unused for too long. The time limits are still to be agreed with the applicant, and the approval has 11 conditions.
Application received
The council checks the application is complete and gives it a reference number.
Consultation
The council tells neighbours and others, usually with a site notice or letters. Anyone can comment, usually within 21 days.
Decision
Most applications are decided by the council's planning officers. Larger or disputed ones go to the planning committee, where councillors decide in public.
After the decision
If permission is refused, the applicant can appeal to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales. Other people can't appeal, but can comment on an appeal.
