A decision has been made, so the council is no longer taking comments. Approved, 22 July 2024.
This application was named on the agenda of Planning Committee on 19 July 2024.
What the committee decided
The committee granted deemed planning consent, which is permission the Council gives on its own application, subject to the conditions in the report. It changed condition 8 so that any part of the rear windows of plots 9 to 27 that is less than 1.7 metres above the floor must be obscure glazed. It added condition 14, which requires a removal plan to be approved within 12 months for moving the units to new sites within five years, with plots 21 to 27 removed first.
Application received
The council checks the application is complete and gives it a reference number.
Consultation
The council tells neighbours and others, usually with a site notice or letters. Anyone can comment, usually within 21 days.
Decision
Most applications are decided by the council's planning officers. Larger or disputed ones go to the planning committee, where councillors decide in public.
After the decision
If permission is refused, the applicant can appeal to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales. Other people can't appeal, but can comment on an appeal.
