Committee recommendations on Quarter 1 performance
The committee made nine recommendations on the Quarter 1 report. It also recorded two actions for the Highways, Transport and Recycling service: report on how social value is measured in transport contracts, and review the rights of way measure and target through business planning.

Quarter 1 performance report 2026/27
The committee agreed actions for officers. Future reports should include benchmarking and year-on-year trends. Indicators below target should come with explanations, recovery plans and reasons for targets. Workforce reports should cover sickness absence trends and the effect of recruitment. The way performance information is presented should be reviewed.
