Councillor Claire Hall asked the Cabinet Member for Learning about the second phase of engagement on the post-16 review. She asked whether the questionnaire was well designed, why reliable data matters, and when the results would be published. The Cabinet Member said high quality data matters, and he said the results would be published in the spring term.
Response by the Cabinet Member: Thank you for your questions. I agree that having high quality, unbiased and accurate date is important to support policy making across all areas of local government and I look forward to seeing the results of the engagement work carried out by ORS recently. This will be published in the spring term.
Councillors must say when they have a personal link to something being discussed, such as a job, a property or a family member. A prejudicial interest is one strong enough that the councillor usually leaves the room and takes no part.
