Consultation on the disabled parking bay scheme review
The Committee resolved to respond to the consultation on the proposals, to make further comments and recommendations, and to receive further information after the consultation.

Disabled Persons Parking Bay Scheme: new model
Cabinet agreed a new Disabled Persons Parking Bay Scheme. It will allocate up to 15 bays a year, with 5 extra bays in the first year funded from one-off money. The scheme will reopen for applications from March 2026, after a promotion period from January 2026. The Council will carry out an internal review after 12 months of operation.
