Welsh in Education Strategic Plan: annual update
Members noted the progress made since the last update. They agreed to consider the actions in the Annual Work Plan and the Welsh Government feedback on it once received. Members also recommended that the Welsh Government feedback be circulated to committee members, that future reports come to the committee before they go to Welsh Government and include more specific SMART targets (targets that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound) and key performance indicators (KPIs), and that a summary of WESP outcomes and RAG ratings (red, amber, green status ratings) appear at the start of future reports. Welsh Government feedback had not been received when the report was written.

Welsh in Education Strategic Plan annual update
Members noted the progress made since the previous update. They agreed to consider the actions and updates in the Annual Review Report for 2024/25. Any letter to Welsh Government or to a Senedd committee was put on hold until then.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
