Forward Work Programme 2023-24
Members resolved to approve the draft Forward Work Programme for 2023-24. They also recommended that the PSB provide further information on its strategic themes and more performance data, to help scrutiny and transparency.

2024-25 work programme for the Overview and Scrutiny Committee
The committee agreed the issues for its 2024-25 work programme, as set out in Appendix A, subject to bringing the Child Poverty item forward sooner than the November meeting. It agreed that the work programme be reviewed at regular intervals, with the Cabinet Work Programme as a standing item. It authorised the Service Director Democratic Services and Communications to review the future items list to identify matters for public participation and engagement. It approved the thematic committees' work programmes in Appendices B, C and D. It asked that the relevant Cabinet Members and officers be told of the matters identified for pre-scrutiny, meaning checks made before Cabinet decides, in advance of Cabinet consideration.
