It elected a Vice-Chair for the 2026-2027 Municipal Year, approved its Annual Report for 2025-2026 for forwarding to Council, and began work on a councillor induction and training programme for after the Local Government Elections on 6 May 2027.
Members gave feedback on the 2022 programme and backed a proposal that online training modules now mandatory for staff should also be mandatory for councillors. The committee will receive a further report, and it will recommend this change to full Council, the meeting of all councillors.
