Transformation of adult day services
Cabinet agreed a new model of six types of day opportunity, and agreed to start co-production to review and remodel internal day services. It also agreed three temporary moves become permanent: Maesglas SNS stays at Swansea Vale Resource Centre and its former building becomes four temporary supported living flats; Ty Waunarlwydd Older People’s Day Service will not reopen and its building becomes an Independent Living Hub; and Toronto Place moves permanently to Fforestfach Day Service, with its building assessed for housing or other uses.
