Council considered the outcome of the consultation, agreed a new resolution not to issue casino premises licences, and approved the changes to the Gambling Policy. The resolution takes effect on 7 December 2023.

Review of the Gambling Policy for 2025 to 2028
The Cabinet agreed the proposed changes to the Gambling Policy. It agreed that the revised policy be issued for public consultation before going back to Council for adoption.

Polisi Gamblo diwygiedig wedi'i fabwysiadu
Council approved the proposed amendments to the Gambling Policy and adopted the revised policy in Appendix C of the report. The Gambling Policy is the council's statement of how it licenses betting, gaming and gambling premises under the Gambling Act 2005.
