Appointments to joint committees and partnership bodies
Cabinet agreed the appointments to joint committees (bodies councils run together) and partnership bodies listed in Appendix 1. This included, by an amendment made at the meeting, replacing Councillor Joanne Gauden with Councillor Susan Morgan on the Torfaen Canal Strategic Partnership Board. The appointments take effect at once and last until Cabinet changes them or the next local elections. Cabinet also agreed that European and Regional Affairs and Equalities matters stay with the full Cabinet, not sub-committees.

Cabinet agreed the appointments listed in Appendix 1, with the verbal amendments made at the meeting. Councillor Sue Morgan replaces Councillor Joanne Gauden on the Torfaen Canal Strategic Partnership Board. CCR Energy is added under joint committees, with Councillor Sue Morgan as a director. The appointments take effect immediately until Cabinet changes them or the next local elections. Cabinet also agreed that European and Regional Affairs and Equalities matters will continue to be dealt with by the full Cabinet, not by sub-committees.
