Two motions: violence against women and girls; employment rights
Council unanimously supported the motion on violence against women and girls, with all 36 members voting in favour. Council agreed, by a majority, to support the motion on the Employment Rights Bill 2024, with 31 members in favour and 3 against. The council agreed to write to the UK government supporting the bill's measures.
