Safer Torfaen community safety partnership
The committee made six recommendations. It recommended that littering be included under anti-social behaviour, with education for primary and secondary pupils. It recommended that Safer Torfaen work with the Youth Service and Sports Development to find ways of running youth activity in problem areas, and that a licensing representative be considered as an associate member to help tackle illegal vape sales with Trading Standards. It also recommended that officers work with education staff to record and track violence in schools more thoroughly, that systems across services such as the YOS (youth offending service) be linked as a priority, and that positive case studies be publicised more widely.

Community safety and anti-social behaviour (ASB)
The committee made five recommendations. It also recommended more early prevention and intervention support for vulnerable children and young people, with a focus on neurodivergency, and wider promotion of Torfaen Connect. It asked the Executive Member for a briefing note on the funding position for mentoring and Positive Futures, once alternative sources have been identified.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
