Cabinet approved the change to the procurement route for over-cladding Nelson House and Loudoun House, and the amended funding requirement in the report. It delegated all aspects of the procurement for the cladding works to the Director of Adults, Housing and Communities, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing and Communities, the Corporate Director Resources and the Director of Governance and Legal Services. It awarded the JCT Design & Build contract for Block A in phase 1 of the Channel View regeneration project to Wates Residential, for the contract sum in the confidential appendices.
