Cardiff Council's role in the Connect to Work programme
Cabinet agreed that Cardiff Council will become the Grant Recipient Body for the South East Wales region. It approved a Grant Recipient Body Central Team and agreed that the Into Work Advice Service will deliver the programme in Cardiff. It delegated power to named officers to sign the grant agreement with the Department for Work and Pensions, agree funding with other regional councils, and make later changes to the grant and delivery plan.
