The Committee agreed that the Chairperson would write to the Cabinet Member for Climate Change, Strategic Planning and Transport, Councillor De'Ath, with the Committee's comments and observations.

Cabinet noted the progress made on carbon reduction during the One Planet Cardiff Strategy. It approved continuing work on a “Green Growth Proposition”, focusing on building retrofit and renewable energy generation. The work is to include a clear picture of the challenges, goals, potential investment opportunities and delivery models.

The Committee agreed that the Chairperson, on its behalf, would write to the Cabinet Member with the Committee's observations and recommendations on the way forward.
