Tennis court refurbishment in parks with Tennis Wales
Cabinet approved the proposed agreement with Tennis Wales and the three tennis court sites named in the report. It delegated authority to the Director of Economic Development, after consulting the Cabinet Member for Culture, Parks and Events and the Legal Officer, to choose a further three sites, subject to checks on trust arrangements and restrictive covenants (legal limits on how land may be used), and to sign licence and management agreements. It noted that sites held in charitable trust will need separate decisions by Cabinet acting as Trustee.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
