Children and Young People Scrutiny Committee. Scrutiny committees question decisions and can recommend changes. They don't make the decision.
Maximising foster placements through home adaptations and extensions
The committee agreed that the Chair would write to the Cabinet Member with the committee's comments and observations. The committee did not decide on the policy itself, as its role was to examine the proposal before Cabinet decides.
Cabinet. The Cabinet makes most of the council's decisions.
Fostering offer and home adaptations for carers
Cabinet approved the policy and grant administration process to fund adaptations and extensions to the homes of foster carers, kinship carers and special guardians. It noted the improved recruitment and retention offer for in-house foster carers.
Items are linked when their titles share most of their words and they fall within 18 months of each other. Councils don't number reports across meetings, so a few links may be wrong, and a step may be missing if its title changed a lot. Each step links to the meeting, where the council's own papers are.
