Review of Whistleblowing Policy
RESOLVED: 1. To delegate authority to the Monitoring Officer, in consultation with the Chair to finalise the revised draft Whistleblowing, having regard to the comments made by the Committee, and recommend it to Cabinet for approval; and To provide any comments on the proposed arrangements for communication and training in relation to the revised Policy, once approved.
Policy Review and Performance Scrutiny Committee. Scrutiny committees question decisions and can recommend changes. They don't make the decision.
Whistleblowing Policy revision
The Committee agreed that the Chairperson will write to the Cabinet Member with the Committee's observations and recommendations on the way forward.
